• Steering brakes are also known as cut brakes, hand brakes, or turning brakes.  

• Gives a driver greater control over a vehicle by allowing the vehicle to turn in a much tighter turning radius by applying brakes to the inside wheel while using the throttle to give more power to the outside wheel. This is ideal in situations like tight canyons for rock crawling especially if you have a twin stick shifter on your transfer case and if you release the transfer case for the rear, it enables you to do a front dig. 

• All three ports on the back of the steering brake assembly are tapped for 1/8" NPT pipe thread. You will need to purchase adapter fittings for your brake lines separately.
