Dave's Customs Unlimited stubby rock crawler front bumper fits 1976 to 1986 Jeep CJ.

 
HEAVY DUTY formed front bumper with excellent clearance and simple styling. Built on winch mount, which keeps winch mounted low, accepts most standard winches and includes removable fairlead mount. Bumper is 41.5" long and includes two heavy duty 1" thick recovery shackle tabs welded inside and out, and angled to provide maximum clearance and approach angle.
 
 
Bumper formed from CNC cut and CNC bent 3/16" thick HRP&O, USA-made steel. Bumper shipped bare steel. Some finish work and sanding will be necessary before painting or powder coating.
 
INCLUDES:
  • Heavy duty bumper with winch mount and welded on clevis mounts.
  • Fairlead mount
  • Bumper brackets
  • Grade 8 mounting hardware
Bumper mounting brackets mount to sides of frame rail utilizing the factory holes (3/4" and 5/8" mounting holes) which mounts securely to the frame and adds much needed strength to the front of a CJ frame. Most competitor's bumpers mount to the little 3/8" holes at the front of the frame which are prone to tearing out.

NOTE: Due to slight varying frame widths on a CJ, WELDING IS REQUIRED. The main bumper brackets must be welded to the inside of the bumper.
