Jeep JL Stubby Rock Crawler Front Bumper

Are you tired of all the bulky and ugly steel JL Wrangler bumpers on the market that weigh too much and make your Jeep look like the front of a semi?!

Dave's Customs has your answer. Our JL stubby rock crawler front bumper is functional, has simple styling, a low profile, and high clearance built into the proven design.

The bumper is fabricated from CNC cut and CNC formed 3/16" and 1/4" thick HRP&O steel. Our bumper design is lightweight, but incredibly strong.  It has a formed lip behind the winch mounting area and an internal gusset inside of the bumper.

These bumpers are hand crafted by experienced professional welders and fabricators in the USA, so overall fit and attention to detail are second to none.

These bumpers are designed to be a factory replacement on the 2018 and up JL Wrangler and Gladiators with a simple bolt on design. No cutting or altering of the Jeep frame is needed like some of the competitor bumpers.

Bumper includes a gusseted heavy-duty low profile 1 3/4" x .120 wall DOM tubing front hoop designed to protect the winch, grill, and radiator area.

Our heavy-duty front JL bumper also includes two 1" thick recovery shackle tabs welded inside and out and angled to provide maximum clearance and approach angle.

The JL rock crawler front bumper includes a gusseted fairlead winch mount, which is designed to accept most popular winch brands.

Why do we mount our winches on top rather than recessed into the bumper?

Our steel bumpers are engineered to be the strongest, highest clearance, and lightest of its kind. Most of the integral strength is derived during the forming process and augmented with the internal gusseting that is welded to the inside of the bumper.

When the winch is recessed into and bolted directly to the bottom plate of the bumper, there is no extra support or internal gusseting to give structural integrity to the bumper. Also, for those not yet running a winch our bumpers do not have an unsightly hole in the middle.

Dave's Customs JL front bumper also includes built-in, recessed fog lamp mounts designed to accept the factory fog lamps. Our heavy-duty mounts include threaded inserts and mounting hardware to give you a simple, no drill install.
